Water Color Class

I've re-discovered water color, and I'm lovin' it! Last week I held my first ever technique class, choosing watercolor for the projects. I decided to demo two different types. I found the class on our SU website, and the card layout on Sudsol. The first was basic water color using the crayons and pencils with the aqua painter which I dubbed "Color Book Technique". Wagon Full of Fun from the Occasions Mini is perfect for beginners. Their first project was a Pizza Box and four 3x3 cards. Each card involved using a different medium or combination of mediums, and light to dark or left to right shading.

The second project involved layering on color for shading and highlighting, using ink pads, markers and blender pen. I cased this card from Sandi McIver using Soft Summer from the occasions mini.
