On my annual Michigan Stampin' Scrappin' Retreat I do samples for everything I give away. These two cards were samples for the ribbon give-a-way. I wanted to show some nontraditional ways to use ribbon - ways other than bows, knots, etc.
The first card used pink scraps to make a flower. I attached the scraps to a punched circle and trimmed them to make the flower.I finished the flower center with a So Saffron button . The stem is a piece of non Stampin' Up! green from my scrap stash.
The second card uses a piece of satin ribbon that is adhered to a punched circle on the bottom and then topped with another punched circle. The stem was hand cut and the leaves were oval punched, scored and inked.

Thanks for looking!
Love these cards! There are three things that can make me blow my budget..Ribbon, DSP and beautiful fabric, well maybe four..tools. Oh and maybe five...any mini catalog..I've got to case these samples! Thanks for making me think out of the box!
